Dear Sir/Madam,
I write in response to the opportunity advertised for Investment Analyst, Private Equity. After more than ten years working in financial markets as a financial planner and investment advisor, I am now focused on making the transition to a more focused career within investment management and analysis. In addition to experience gained "on the ground", I am a CFA Charterholder and have a Master of Applied Finance, Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning, plus several other qualifications within the field of financial advice. I'm a fast learner, inquisitive by nature and have proven ability at turning ideas into commercially successful enterprises (I've spent seven of the past 15 years running businesses). Prior to my career in financial services I was a paratrooper in the Australian Army (Royal Australian Regiment), serving on operations in Australia and abroad.
